Satr — RTL for Claude

A small Chrome extension that fixes reading and writing direction in Claude conversations that mix Arabic and English.

What it does

• Detects direction separately for paragraphs, headings, list items, quotes, and table cells.
• Keeps Arabic, Persian, Urdu, and Hebrew text RTL and English text LTR in Smart mode.
• Keeps code blocks and inline code LTR in every mode.
• Applies direction as Claude streams a response.
• Uses native automatic direction in the prompt editor, without rewriting what you type.
• Offers Smart and Always RTL modes plus six bundled Arabic fonts.

Privacy

• No network requestsSatr never contacts a server. There is nothing to send.
• No stored textPrompts and responses are read in the tab and never saved.
